Welcome to Budget Computers. By using our services or purchasing products from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General
- Budget Computers provides computer sales, repairs, custom PC builds, and business IT support services.
- These Terms apply to all in-store and online transactions.
- We reserve the right to change these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Sales and Pricing
- All prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise.
- Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice.
- Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
3. Payments
- Full payment is required before collection or delivery of goods.
- We accept EFTPOS, cash, bank transfers, and major credit cards.
- A 2% surcharge may apply to credit card payments.
4. Warranty
- New products are covered by manufacturer warranties.
- Refurbished or second-hand items carry a 30 to 90-day warranty unless otherwise specified.
- Warranty does not cover physical damage, software issues, or misuse.
5. Returns & Refunds
- Products may be returned within 14 days for a refund or exchange, provided they are unused, in original condition, and accompanied by a receipt.
- No refunds for software, licensing, or change-of-mind on services already rendered.
- A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply on opened goods.
6. Repairs and Services
- We aim to diagnose and repair within a reasonable timeframe.
- Customer data is the customer’s responsibility. We recommend backing up before repairs.
- Budget Computers is not liable for data loss, though we will take reasonable care to preserve data during service.
- Devices not collected within 60 days of repair completion may be disposed of.
7. Business IT Support Contracts
- Business support plans are tailored to the client’s needs and detailed in a separate Service Agreement.
- Support services may include remote support, onsite visits, scheduled maintenance, and priority response.
- Contracts are billed monthly or annually, with a minimum term of 12 months unless otherwise agreed.
- Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days’ written notice unless otherwise specified in the contract.
8. Custom-Built PCs
- All custom PC builds require a deposit before work begins.
- Compatibility, performance, and specific components will be confirmed with the client before assembly.
- Build timeframes vary depending on component availability.
- Custom PCs come with a limited warranty covering hardware components only. Software configuration is not covered unless part of the service agreement.
9. Liability
- Budget Computers is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or services.
10. Privacy
- Personal information collected is used only for service and communication purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
11. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia (WA).
